Why Fish Concept #2
Concept #2
After tying a knot, always test it by holding the hook and giving the line a steady pull. If the line should break make sure you cut off some line and retie your knot. This tip may sound kind of elementary but it really makes sense. Imagine if you didn’t check the line and you caught that fish of a lifetime, you would never forgive yourself for such a simple oversight. To ensure that you don’t loose that fish of a lifetime, check your line and your knots frequently to ensure that everything is in working order. If your line is breaking regularly don’t be afraid to change your line. Line is inexpensive and easy to change. Until the next Why Fish Concept keep your hook in the water, your line tight and most of all keep it fun.
The Why Fish Concept is adapted from the book 365 Fishing Tips from Dakota
