Why Fish Radio Episode #56
Listen Now (mp3)
We have a guest this week who is a local fisherman that keeps off the beaten path when it comes to fishing. Josh Burgett joins us to talk about fishing in small lakes and streams. Josh has made his fishing career by looking for the small bodies of water that most people (myself included) pass over to get to the big, well known waters.
We talk about the lack of maps and knowledge and how you basically have to be a journyman seeking adventure to go out and learn the new less talk about water. As with our "Undisclosed Body of Water" in Minnesota, Josh shares some ideas and tips to get started on the small bodies of water. We also visit a bit about the Red River which you know is near and dear to our hearts. Josh tells us that he recently discovered the Red and is having alot of fun learning the big water known as the Red as well.
This past week we have gotten much feedback from the video that explains cleaning a northern pike. If you have not gotten a chance to view it yet just click here.
