Why Fish Radio Episode #63
Listen Now (mp3)
Probably our most exciting show to date. Both of us were the weekend guests of "Mr. Ice Fishing" Dave Genz. Our fishing excursion took us bluegill fishing in Central Minnesota. We were also joined by the inventor of the Snobear, Tom Lykken and the Perch Patrol's own Jason Mitchell.
Enough about us. This week we interviewed Mr. Genz about late ice fishing and as he calls it "The best icefishing of the year" He teaches us about oxygen depleted and how to find fish then walks us through the stages of the thaw that creates the fresh spring water that really makes fish bite. I think if you like to ice fish and are interested in the best bite of the year you will really find interest in this show.
As always Why Fish is brought to you by Cats on the Red, Today's Tackle, and Trophy Cat Adventures. Only six weeks left to sign up for the guided trip from Why Fish and Kent at Trophy Cat Adventures. Just send your name address and telephone number to contest@whyfishradio.com.
