The long awaited walleye opener at Red Lake has come and gone. turns out with all the hype the people stayed away. They were expecting in excess of 2000 boats and they only got about 150. Those who ventured out for the first opener since 1999 had a great day.
Aquatic Nuisance is again in the news with zebra mussels being found in a water that could find it's way to the Missouri River. It is up to all of us to help prevent these things from spreading. Please wash your boats, trailers and clean out your live wells before entering a new body of water.
