Little late getting this one up but it is a good show just the same. The week we talked about some late season fishing and even a bit of hunting. One of the things we touched on was out new Frabill Fish house that just arrived. We made fun of ourselves as we will try to assemble the house.

Greenbacks are still going in Lockport and we can only look forward to our trip on the hard water in December.

Durick is back from walleye fishing in Lockport and it was everything it was billed as. The weather was horrible but still produced 2-28 inch walleyes (greenbacks as they are known up there.) It was a spur of the moment trip but produced like a planned out dream trip. The fish was caught on a home made green jig. The joke is that we had to go 600 miles one way for that paint but it paid off.

Dokken was in SW North Dakota hunting phesants. Although he would rather be fishing it was a fun trip just the same. This week he is hoping to hit the Rainy River for some walleye action of his own. We will have a full report next week.

The weather is showing a hint of winter right now. As of the show and this posting a dusting of snow is coming down. No matter it is an exciting week. Durick scored a trip to Lockport for the upcoming weekend to try his luck a catching a Greenback or two. This will be a new experience but sure to be a memorable one. We will be going out of Cats on the Red.

Dokken is off to do a little fishing and hunting in the Rainy River/ Lake of the Woods area and then a bit of fishing on the Body of water that shall remain nameless. The shows over the next couple weeks should have some really cool reports.

Hunting season is kind of coming into play for all of us here at Why Fish over the next month. We may tend to become Why Fish Radio-Hunting for a few weeks but that is ok right. We are always looking for input on the show so tell us what you think. email brad@whyfishradio.com

Exciting and funny show this week. Dokken tells of his adventure to Voyagers National Park to catch walleyes. He talks about a windy day fall fishing trip that proved quite successful. He also tells us about a river trip where his brother and him ended up paddling about 2 miles with a 2x4 because the motor died. Lesson learned here is carry 2 oars when you go fishing with a small boat.

Durick finally got to go fishing after a three week lay off. The fishing was less than stellar but it was great to be back in the water just the same.
