Today's Tackle Ice Well

The Ice Well is a product that I would recommend for crappies and other panfish when used in a permanent ice house or for some applications in a portable house.
Worked very well in my permanent house for crappies. The 8 inch opening of the Ice Well was adequate for crappies as large as 12 inches (the largest I caught) and would easily take bigger fish. Larger walleyes or Northerns could be a problem. I was impressed with the fact that when I got back to the cabin each crappie was alive and feisty. It is much nicer to clean fish that are not frozen and stiff as a poker.
